Cana China Restaurant – Authentic, MSG-Free Chinese Dining in Forest, ON

The family that owns this Restaurant has got to be some of the friendliest and nicest people we have ever met. The service is top notch and they always go out of their way to make sure you have everything that you need. The food is also very delicious, comes to you quickly after you order and we like the fact that all their food is MSG FREE!!! Highly recommend you try this place and help support a local family business.

Great little local spot if your visiting the ipperwash area..Not going to knock your socks off but gets the job comfortably done with a full tummy lol It is clean, they are nice and pleasant which is a stark contrast from the other place down the street (King's 21) where the food is decent as well, but the lady owner might give you the Kim Jong Un treatment for reals lol was in there and totally got thrown right into a "Micky Blue Eyes Chinese restaurant" scene scenario anyway, Cana China is very adequate for a dining out treat, weekend buffet too..Enjoy

Cana China Restaurant was sold a few years ago. The new owners had a bit of a tough start. As a consumer, that was my belief. I went the other night to their Saturday night buffet and was somewhat impressed. The food was good, all you can eat and a full menu. Try it out and I’m hoping that your experience will be as good as mine.

The environment is particularly atmospheric, you can see that the restaurant has been decorated with particular care, the buffet's have a lot of food for me to go and enjoy, and the food is all fresh and hot, my favourite is sushi, and surprisingly it's in the buffet. The chicken wings are highly recommended and have a special flavour that is particularly tasty at the same time. A special surprise was that I went just in time for the Cana China's event and got my drink for free. Very happy, and the wait staff is also very warm and attentive！

The food was excellent. I had ribs, rice and egg roll. The ribs were soft and tender. The best I’ve ever had. My friends had the lemon chicken. It was crisp but meat was tender. My sister felt the egg roll was the best she ever had. I’m giving 4 stars only because the decor especially the lobby could use a refresh. Hope your experience is as good as ours.

We ordered 7 dishes last night. The food was amazing. Fresh and tasty. We liked the fact they could spice up the szechuan to our heat level. Also wanted to try something different and was given good idea on what to try. Also very impressed with they way they are handling the covid times. Felt very safe. You just earned new customers!!!
